Privacy

This is a privacy newsletter, so here is exactly what is stored, where, and why. Updated October 22, 2026.

If you only read the site

Nothing is stored about you. There are no cookies, no analytics, no ads, no trackers and no third-party scripts or fonts. The only thing the site saves is your light or dark theme choice, in your own browser, and only if you press the theme button. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes the requests your browser makes (including your IP address) to deliver the pages, as any web host does; Unlisted does not store or read those logs.

If you subscribe

WhatWhy
Your email addressTo send you the newsletter.
The time you signed upTo know when you joined, and to prove consent if asked.
The page you signed up fromTo know which page people subscribe from (for example the home page or a post).
The sentence you agreed to: "Email me new Unlisted issues (about every two or three days). I can unsubscribe at any time."A record of what you consented to.
A status: pending until you confirmNobody is mailed without confirming first.

Not stored: your name, your IP address, your browser or device, your location, or anything about what you read.

Where it is kept

Your email address is never sold, rented or shared with anyone else, and never used to build a profile of you.

Getting it deleted

Use remove my email. It deletes your address from the site's database straight away, and the copies on the publisher's computer and at the email provider are removed at the next sync (within a day). Unsubscribing from an email does the same at the provider.

How long it is kept

Until you unsubscribe or remove it.
